How It Works

• Canvas Side: Use the canvas side first to remove light residue and help gently realign the razor’s edge.
• Black Leather Side: Follow with the smooth black leather side to polish, refine, and maintain a clean, smooth blade edge.

How to Use the Strop Belt

1. Secure the Strop: Attach the swivel clasp to a sturdy hook and pull the handle to keep the belt firmly taut.
2. Lead with the Spine: Place the razor flat against the strop with the spine leading. Never move the cutting edge forward.
3. Strop the Canvas: Glide the razor across the canvas for approximately 10–15 laps.
4. Finish on Leather: Turn the belt over and repeat on the black leather side for approximately 20–25 laps.
5. Turn Safely: At the end of each pass, roll the razor over its spine while keeping it in contact with the strop, then glide it back in the opposite direction.
