How to Use the Strop Belt

1. Secure the Strop: Attach the swivel clasp to a sturdy hook and pull the handle to keep the belt firmly taut.
2. Lead with the Spine: Place the razor flat against the strop with the spine leading. Never move the cutting edge forward.
3. Strop the Black side: Glide the razor across the leather for approximately 10–15 laps.
4. Smooth Leather Side: Turn the belt over and repeat on the black leather side for approximately 20–25 laps.
5. Turn Safely: At the end of each pass, roll the razor over its spine while keeping it in contact with the strop, then glide it back in the opposite direction.
